INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

I provide a space where you can be your authentic self, without judgement. A space to discover what is is needed to overcome your personal challenges in a healthy manner. Professional guidance, reflection, and encouragement along your path may likely be a welcome experience. Whatever you are facing, you do not have to face alone. 

ANXIETY

Anxiety can disrupt and rob the moments in your life. I am here to help you work through your doubts, build assertiveness, where you can thrive in your daily life without the concern of anxiety getting in your way. 

OBSESSIVE-COMPULSVIE DISORDER (OCD)

If you struggle with intrusive, unwanted thoughts or feel compulsions to do things you feel little control to stop, we can build a treatment to help you understand, and tackle these unwanted issues head on.

I am trained in the treatment of OCD from the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy. (Harvard's medical school.) 

PARENTING/GUARDIAN DIFFICULTIES

For all of the rewards parents and guardians experience with children, it does not come without it's challenges, concerns, and fears. You do not have to be in this alone. Having a place to process what is going on in your life with an objective, professional voice is important and healthy. 

DEPRESSION

Depression has many faces and stages. It impacts our lives differently. Regardless of how severe, long lasting, or brief you have felt depressed, we can utilized research-based and proven methods which will help you overcome it. 

PRE-TEENS (12+), TEENS,& YOUNG ADULTS

Anxiety and depression for this generation is a real concern. â€‹

Today's youth are negotiating school-life, peer relationships (which are complex!), social media, gaming, bullying, and frequent isolation. All at a time in which they are naturally trying to establish themselves as individuals.

Having an objective, supportive place to process their feelings and and to learn to cope with issues in a healthy manner is vital to their overall well-being.

 

Learning to more effectively communicate feelings and experiences with parents and others is a life skill which will improve their mental health and quality of relationships in both the short-term and throughout the remainder of their lives.

TRAUMA

Everyone handles trauma differently. Whatever you have gone through, or are going through, I will be warm and understanding as we work through and develop safe and healthy coping strategies. This will allow you to move forward without the guilt or shame the often accompanies traumatic experiences.
